News/Updates

Hello all.

Recently, as you've all have obviously noticed, the Lab has been very quiet lately. During both my own and Ryan's vacations, we came back in a huge slump. The coming weeks passed and several things came into both of our heads. One of them was the Lab, and its status at the moment and our feelings towards it. We had been hoping the award ceremony would re spark our fledgling interest in the site but even now, its at the same place it was for some time.

And as much as it greatly saddens me and Ryan to say this, but we simply cannot continue running a site. I soon will be getting a second job and therefore my free time will be cut greatly in half. Ryan himself has also stated interest in getting another job as well. Its all just becoming too much of a chore and that's not at all what we wanted this to be in the first place. In what will be our very limited free amounts of time, we're not sure if we can keep up and running the site. And we do not at all think its fair to make everyone who is involved wait this long for releases when we're not exactly when that will happen.

On behalf of myself and Ryan, it was a blast to work with each and everyone of you at the Lab. To Mick, To Scott, To Mitch, To Morgan, To Tim, to everyone who penned a thing for us, we are truly and utterly grateful you took time out of your lives to give this site that spark that it wouldn't have ever even had without you. Thanks so much for making this site what we always dreamed it would be. For the time being I'll be keeping the site up as an archive and I may condense it in time to save space. Time will tell for sure.

Feel free to mail me to answer any questions you may have. I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Here are the latest New Releases!

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010:

Avengers #15
written by Mick Edwards.
Alternate universes always make my head hurt. Is this the real She-Hulk? Is it an alternate universe clone? Why should I care?
Avengers West Coast #1
written by Tony Thornley.
In case you get bored reading the Avengers, you can read about a bunch of chumps who aren't even good enough for the Avengers! Almost as exciting as Weasel's Magic the Gathering tournaments!
Capekillers #6
written by Tim Veselka.
You force me to read an issue featuring the Constrictor's junk and you don't have the decency to make any "Joystick" puns? That's weak Tim.
Gray Light #2
written by Ian Bailey.
The Big Hero 6 are big in Japan. You know what else is big in Japan? Constrictor's Joystick! That's how it's done Tim! That's how it's done!
Knights of G. #9
written by Mitch Crane.
What's with all this fantasy mumbo-jumbo? Is this like when Weasel dresses up like an elf and fights other weirdos with his PVC sword?
Reignfire #3
written by Ryan Schmidt.
Wait, I'm confused. Is this about Pyro? Isn't he dead? Does dead mean dead at the Marvel Lab? Shouldn't you guys have a clearer set of guidelines for this stuff???
Ultimates #4
written by Tim Veselka.
More of this alternate universe nonsense. You nerds just love proving how much smarter you are than me don't you?
AA 70s: Inhumans Annual
written by Scott Casper.
I was gonna read but then I saw all the pictures and links...too confusing. That's Weasel's job. There's two things I leave to Weasel: computers and pleasuring himself without the help of a lady friend.
